Thomas Holdo Hansen

Director and Responsible Travel Advisor

After graduating from the University of Brighton, Thomas went to a Cambodia just opening its doors to travellers and has seen the rapid development and impacts of tourism first-hand. Having worked with numerous hotels and accommodation providers ranging from small locally owned guesthouses to luxurious boutique hotels and various community projects and organisations, he is passionate about creating meaningful and memorable travel experiences, maximising the positive impacts of tourism whilst striving to reduce the negative in order to create win-win-win situations that will benefit all parties involved.

Jo Hansen

Business Development Manager

With more than 20 years of experience from the tourism and hospitality sector, Jo completed a Masters in Responsible Tourism Management at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2009, firmly cementing her values in promoting sustainable development. Drawing heavily upon her sales, marketing and events experience within hotels, she works passionately with projects and organisations on a grass-roots level in Cambodia to build bridges between poverty alleviation and tourism.

Kristin Holdo Oishi

Responsible Tourism Advisor

As co-founder and the driving force behind the award-winning Soria Moria Boutique Hotel and Soria Moria Education and Development Programme (SMEDP) in Siem Reap, Cambodia, Kristin has got a few international accolades under her belt. Kristin always looks for opportunities to apply market-based strategies to achieve a social purpose. With a genuine feisty spirit, she will get a job done and won’t stop until she’s seen it through from start to end whilst ensuring that every process is positively impacting the livelihoods of those she is working with and for.

Nathan Nelson

Environment, Web and Digital Communications

In addition to a great passion for nature, food and travel, Nathan loves his gadgets. He is a technical guru with wide project management experience in the commercial, public, charity and humanitarian sectors in a variety of roles with particular focus on digital communications and training. With a City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in Ground Based Chainsaw Operations and a Diploma in Countryside Management, he’s passionate about the environment, education and international development.
